FOAMAT™ FLOORING: The System Foamat™ Flooring is a system that combines the shock-absorbing dynamics of this exclusive foam with the benefits of two different top cover options. It is a system that can be used in many different applications, depending upon the specific needs. The flooring also allows for different installation options. The material comes in rolls with a standard roll size of 48" wide by 100' long by 1 ½" thick. The Foamat™ The foam layer provides the performance of shock absorption,
great traction for sure footing, ability to drain, and an insulating
quality that makes this flooring effective and unique. The material
is closed cell foam that will not absorb liquids and provides good insulation.
It is made from 100% recycled, post industrial foam, sourced from manufacturers
and pre consumer fabricators. Different, specific types of foam are
used in the "recipe", that when combined in the manufacturing
process, produce the desired dimension and density. During this process,
3/4" deep grooves, 2" apart are thermo formed into the bottom
side of the flooring. This provides even more cushion as well as channels
for drainage. Top Covers There are two options of top cover for the Foamat™ Flooring, depending upon the application: Permeable or Water Repellent. PERMEABLE- This cover is bonded directly to the foam. It is composed of an extremely durable poly fiber spun together, creating a cover for the flooring that allows fluids to pass directly through it while maintaining durability and comfort. Standard roll size of permeable flooring is 48" wide by 100' long. The permeable cover over hangs the 48" wide foam on both sides so it can be folded under. This "flap" can also be used for gluing segments of flooring together or fastening the material down. WATER REPELLENT- This cover comes in roll form separate
from the foam. It is 13' 3" wide, offering the ability to span
the width of almost any stall. At approximately 1/4" thick this
cover offers a non-abrasive, water-repellent surface for Foamat™
Flooring. Flexible and easy to work with, this coated top cover is installed
over 48" wide Foamat™ sections laid side by side to fill the
desired area, and fastened around the perimeter by screwing 2"
wide by 8' long PVC strips to the wall or floor, leaving a seamless
and comfortable stall floor. Applications Provides supreme comfort. Can be cut to fit almost any
area.
